The STEM Lab and Math Wing at the Woodhall School (Bethlehem, CT) was the first step in a larger Master Plan for the school that we helped to develop. After considering locations and opportunities for future campus expansion, the STEM lab was built to replace the existing math wing, which was in desperate need of repair. The lab space is oriented toward the campus entry and overlooks a nearby pond - serving as the first glimpse of campus for new students and parents. In total the addition is approximately 800sf, all classrooms feature clerestory windows letting in natural light, a drastic improvement to the previous small and cramped spaces of the original building.
